A darker mix than usual, at least for the first 20 minutes, and then we get into banging house and prog house melodies

I have added some MIDI effects to my dear mixer for this one, so I have been messing around and will add some new ones soon to get more and more unique mixes. It doesn’t look like it but Summer is just around the corner, so I thought I should present you a feel-good mix, to get ready for the party season.

This mix has plenty of uplifting melodies, starting with more housey tracks and slowly getting into Trance. I was actually thinking of Ibiza while planning it, so it has that big-room, hands in the hair feel. I finished with “Let Go“, as this was one of the tracks that I kept listening to during my stay in the White Isle last year, as part of the “Best of PVD” compilation, which is f’n great by the way. Paul van Dyk is a genious, but I am pretty sure everyone knows that by now.

It’s amazing what Technology can do for you these days, as I’m writing this on my new HTC Desire, an amazing phone, with the WordPress app.

But that’s not what matters now. A couple of months ago me and my girlfriend went to London for Pryda Night, at Club Matter. It was an amazing night, that witnessed another great set by Eric Prydz, who is better than ever. I honestly think this was better than the closing of Wonderland in Ibiza last year, which is no small feat.

Eric played most of his own work and, in the end, I got to meet him, which was an unforgettable moment!

I will definitely see Prydz again very soon. In the meantime, here’s a pic from that night!

I recorded this mix with a very special person in mind and must say I am very proud of the end result! ‘Shell, I hope you are proud too, since this is a gift to you. You give me all the inspiration I need, day after day. When I am around you, feels like Friday Night- constant joy, constant happiness, unlimited fun! So THANK YOU.

This mix is a blend of Progressive and House, with 2 tracks by mr. Eric Prydz, who is definitely on top of his game (more on that soon) and overall a pretty melodic and banging mix. I hope you like it, it was a great fun to mix.

So I decided to enter a DJ competition, just for the fun of it, and decided to share my mix with all of you. This is a 30 minute mix with some of the songs I really like, most of them you have already heard on previous mixes, with the exception of the big AN21 & Philip Jensen’s Remix of La Roux’s “Quicksand” and “Walk With Me” (Axwell Vs Daddy Groove Remix) by Nanchang Nancy & Prog & Fitch.
