DJ Bammer – December 2010 “Rainbows in the Sky” Mix December 7, 2010 No Comments
So I was on holidays and decided to pick some tracks I used to spin back in 2005-2006 and mixed them all up just for nostalgia’s sake… this mix starts with a bit of breaks (back when Junkie XL was on fire), goes into progressive house and finishes up with more electro-ish tunes. The man of the moment Eric Prydz actually wraps this one with a killer track, “Frankfurt“. Some old gems in there, like “We Interrupt this Program” or “Past Will be Future“.
Download it here or stream it below.
Enjoy!

DJ Bammer – November 2010 “Let’s All Dream” Mix November 10, 2010 No Comments
One more mix, as we’re reaching the end of the year! No reason to be sad as one of my favorite bands, Interpol, will be in town this week! It would be an even better month if Canadian band Arcade Fire were coming as well, but unfortunately they had to cancel due to the NATO summit. Shame!
This mix is about Canada and about dreamy melodies, as most of the sound I present you this month is heavily influenced by the Canadian progressive house sound, made famous by artists like Max Graham, Deadmau5, Daniel Portman, Jerome Isma-Ae or Glenn Morrison (not all of them Canadian mind you!). Watch out for the monster “The XX” remix and of course, Eric Prydz has another massive remix which strangely went a little bit under the radar this year, in “Thee Athem”.
I had a lot of fun choosing this month’s tracks and I hope you enjoy this month’s offering!

New Mobile version of djbammer.net November 9, 2010 No Comments
Just a quick note to let you know of another new feature of the site. After the New Facebook Fan Page, I have also created a mobile version of the site using the very easy and powerful plug-in WPtouch. I hope that is useful for visitors using iPhones and Android phones. Here is a screenshot of how the page looks like:
New mix to be up very soon!
New Facebook Fan Page November 4, 2010 1 Comment
It took me a while but I finally decided to open a Facebook Fan Page. People are using Facebook more and more, the service is becoming an Internet on its own so I better catch up I guess.
The page won’t be anything fancy, just a tool to catch up with all of you, let you know of new stuff and of course, a new channel. You can become a fan using the box on the right or by visiting the page, clicking here.
I am working on this month’s mix, should be up soon!
DJ Bammer – “Let’s Get Ready” October Mix October 27, 2010 No Comments
Wow, it’s been a while. I actually made this mix in September but wanted to post it only in October, but I didn’t expect to post it at the end of the month!
This is a special mix because it is the first time that I actually made a special intro, remixing Arcade Fire’s beautiful “Ready to Start”. I have just started producing so nothing fancy for now, but hopefully I will do this often and my mixes will become more and more unique. I have been dedicating most of my free time to production lately, hopefully you can hear some of my tunes in my mixes someday as well!
This mix ends with Paul Kalkbrenner’s Gebrunn Gebrunn, a beautiful track and I strongly recommend you guys have a listen to the “Berlin Calling” CD. The movie itself is pretty good, but the OST is wonderful. Also, check the old “The Contented Gastronome”, a track I actually used to play a lot in my mixes many years ago.
Here is the tracklist and you can download the 192 kps mp3 file here. Enjoy!
